« on: July 23, 2008, 03:07:21 PM »
i've got a wal-mart buckmaster BTR  bow , my question is when i set the tiller and the center shot on the arrow and i draw the bow the knock point drops way down , pointing the arrow up . i've tried setting the knock point higher ,and moving the tiller , nothing seems to work . its always the same problem . ??? :-[ :-\

Set the nock point some where between 0 and 1/8 in high.  I have had good luck with that on most all single cam bows as a starting point.  Go out shoot it and get use to the bow, then tune it.  There are several ways to go about this, paper tuning is probably the best although I tune to a group most of the time after paper tuning.  It is not uncommon for a single cam bow to be nocking low at full draw.  In my opinion the tiller is not an issue on a compound bow if you adjust your limbs evenly.  If you can shoot the bow with the limbs all the way down, I find it to be most accurate despite tiller not being perfect.
