Coyote traps made in America

coyote trappers...

What good coyote traps are made in America?
I mail ordered a Bridger #2 OS and was surprised to see stamped on it "Made In Taiwan"... now I feel guilty.
I want to purchase a couple more but not that way...

Also,
I've seen some pictures posted of some nice coyotes, but I'm not aware of the range of colors their coats can be. I guess geographic location might play a part as well.

I'm in South PA but trap in both north & south PA. Some people have been seeing a black dog streaking around the area here for the past year and say it is dark gray or maybe even black. Is it more likely a stray dog or coyote? Coyote are not known to be in this area, but they are coming back in the north part of the state really strong, and just maybe they are moving in south to.

Hard tellin not knowin...but those eastern coyotes can be black, red, yellow the full gamet of coat colors.  Now out here they're bascially the  same color some lighter in overall color (pales) some darker.  I've taken a number that appeared almost tricolor in and about their front shoulders, legs and feet.

Spider, there are some U.S. made coyote traps made by Victor and sleepy creek. Also a few of the coyote specific traps that come to mind are:MB 650,Sterling and the Jake trap.
There is no need to feel bad about buying traps made by Bridger or Duke.If it were not for the countries where these traps are made, we would not have much of a fur Market. The asian countries are the driving force in fur consumption.Seems like a pretty good trade off to me.we buy Traps made in their countries and they buy our fur.
Sorry to say, If all we had to drive the fur industry was North America. We would sell very little of the furs we harvest.   Tom
