SIG 230 trigger problem, is it the grip?

I just bought a used SIG 230, it has after market wood grips. When it is shot the spring under the right side grip disconnects, rendering the gun un-fireable. My question is this, is my problem the grip or the spring? How is SIG about repairs? I thought I would buy a set of inexpensive grips and try them first. This is my first SIG and I am thinking that this is a simple fix. Shotgunner

It was the grip. I cut a shim, out of a cardboard bullet box and put it into the area that is cut out for the spring. The gun works perfectly now. I will pour 1/8" of bedding compound into the area and it should fix it. I might look for a set of factory grips, I like wood but the ones I have a kind of thick, for this type of gun.
