410 steel shot reloading data

 ??? ??? ??? A older gentleman from church asked I could find him reloading data for #7 steel shot and I haven't found any info at aall. Can someone please help !!!!!!!     Jess ;D

I doubt any is out there. I don't think steel in a .410 is a real good idea. The .410 runs at far higher pressures than other larger gauges anyway and steel also produces much higher pressures than does lead. Combine the two and I see pressures getting too high too fast for safety. If ya just gotta have .410 steel buy it factory if it's made and if it's not that should tell you it's not a wise idea.

  ;D  GB I agree! it wasn't for me anyway and I will relay the message 410's and steel don't mix. A nice way to blow your head off. I searched many web sites and zero data., so your answer is whai I had already guessed. Thanks, Jess

There are other non toxic shot shells available in .410 if he needs to use non toxic ammunition.
