It's true that some people are apparently switching to the left, but it's also true that some are turning to the right.  My feeling is that those on the left don't have to turn very far to the right to go with McGore, but for someone who is on the right to go for Osama, they have to crank it past the stop to get there.  Anyone that would do that, probably never had any real beliefs, or convictions anyway.

While I can see the dissatisfaction with the Republicrat party and McCain, they're absolute fools if they think Obama is going to improve on anything.  Afraid to "throw their vote away" (or endorsement, in this case) on a third party.

I think that third party voting is the ONLY WAY OUT of this mess we have voted ourselves into. McCain an Obama should flip a coin to see whom will be the vice-president and run as a team. They in the end will work together regardless of which wins, to further disassemble the Constitution and Bill of Rights. McCain has been trying to do so for over 20 years, and has the voting record to prove it. He has been an open tree hugger for this 20+ years. Now he has a very dedicated assistant in Obama.

You're right, McGore has a record and it's no secret that he swerves across the line like Ted Kennedy after a party.  Osama also has a record; in fact, I think he holds the record for the most radical liberal senator alive. 

With McGore there is a chance that he might come down on the right side of things, but with Osama there is no chance.  Lately, Osama has been all over the road, but I have no doubt that if elected, he will be clear off the left shoulder and headed for the ditch.
