Del ,some of the most amazing revelations of truth coming out of several historical documentary's i have been following lately was revealing the real George Washington.
Guys in the beginning this man was a total loser , a horrible General who's Enemy laughed at him , his men were sloppy misfits and he was nearly removed from his command.
He pulled it together though when Valley Forge woke him up to the facts that we were in this for the long haul , and we better win this or die trying ,because most of us were going to be shot or hung anyway if we didn't. Its the same in the Civil War ,no one ever expected the Nightmare that became.
In the end conclusion of both of these conflicts it was not so much the issues that started them ,as the escalation of hostility's being that nether side blinked. Neither one of these wars can truly be compared to this , This compares more to the Roman Empire in the events surrounding its cause ,and its effect in the end.
lrs and i have been discussing this in relation to today ,No large Army of Gun Owners will form to defend the 2nd , or any other real cause we talk about today.
It will start from a small incident , that got out of hand, and will shock the long held beliefs of Americans. An act like Waco , involving the innocent or the rights of a State where anger replaces all talk about anything. Waco almost did this when the burning deaths of children for no matter what reason, had ATF afraid and watching their backs as large angry groups were forming ready to intervene . Today we have the Internet ,and more news reporting available than CNN . Blind anger and retribution will be the driving force ,and no quarter for those responsible will be given .Guns will then become only a tool , and the mass deaths and body counts will stun the oppressor.The excuse of they were just doing their jobs ,and their grieving family's will fall on deaf ears ,as to the reports of them being storm troopers . This reprisal will bring a contest between revenge and bottled up vigilante style group hatred on one side. Then the surprise and disbelief in the scope of defiance seen in their defeat, then the need for resolve and a justification for its actions, with a retaliation against the Terrorist mob . Brutality will spread and only then will the cooler heads on both sides form into something resembling a reason for the violence in being a cause, in the fight for America. Because the body count grows every day ,and now this can only be described as a war .The right to bear arms then will be a moot point , it will be the Amendments from the 3rd down as the issue VS the control and defeat of the Rebels .
This war will not be between the States ,but more between the country that either side envisions it to be . And like the Roman Empire it will end in East and West in one form or another. This is the real type of scenario Historical and Military scholars have envisioned from the studies done on similar Republics at the point we are at now in America. A spark igniting an explosion from hate and revenge VS Power and Rule .
The USSR , and other collapses of Governments like them were not Republics . The wars in the division of a Republic are far more bloody because its fought by free men , fighting for their freedom ,not to become a subject to Rulers and oppression . No doubt some States will then succeed , and form in a unity , and the worry of another Country coming to the aid of the oppressive Country is also moot . The defending side will also have help if they show they are determined to be their own Country .
In accepting this aid, it will show depending on who that aid is coming from the true intentions of either sides ambitions.
The bottom line here will be this will be a blood bath worse than any war we have yet seen .This time it is for the grand prize ,and the world will want the winner to be the one in control of the Bread Basket ,and the resources in this Country now has. And either way the future face of America on the map is going to change.
