I've got 3 Pumas, 357, 24 in barrel, 44 mag. 20in barrel, and 454 with 20 in barrel. The 454 shoots 45's just as good and I like the fact the Mag. tube is screwed into the receiver. Have had to have the 44s tube worked on twice to keep it from moving forward with the recoil. Still like it, but the 454 is smoother and I kinda like the fact if you want to you can pull the tube and load it like a 22 by dropping those big cases in the tube. Easier on these old, cracked thumbs.
