Does the Marble #30 Universal rear sight fit on the Contender?

Hello, I was liking the looks and versatility of the #30 Universal rear sight by Marble and was hoping someone on this forum can tell me if it will fit on the .357 Contender and how it performed, ie the sight height, adjustment, installation, etc.

The Contender barrel is .800" or just a few thousandths more; you'd have a gap under the sight.  Can't speak to any other of your issues.
