Ken I am happy to hear you found some bullets that shoot well for you. I have pretty much decided I will be buying the same rifle in the same caliber as yours. It would seem to be the perfect Groundhog and Deer rifle at least in my head. If you get a chance and would like to try a lighter bullet would you look at the Hornady 100 grain HP'S? http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=619512 If I do buy the same rifle that would be my pick for Groundhogs. I know you can get 7MM bullets up to about 180 grains. I would like to know how the heavier bullets shoot out of your rifle as well. I think they make a 168 grain bullet. Well I hope to be able to buy one of these before Gun Broker sells out of them. Dale

Dale, you won't be disappointed it that rifle at least I'm not.  I pulled the action out of the stock and lightened the trigger pull down to about 2lbs and it has shrunk my groups considerably.  I doubt I will ever try the 110gr. bullets; the 120gr. Nosler Ballistic tips shoot extremely well for me (5 shots = .378" @100) and it has a lot better BC than the 110gr.  I have shot the 162gr. Hornady SST bullets and they gave fair accuracy when loaded to 2600fps with Varget, but I get much better accuracy with 140gr. bullets.
