I have one, It seems to like the Wolf 154 grain softpoint as far as accuracy goes.  But about 10% misfire, but it you fire a second time they will go off.  I tried some Sellier/Belloit...no missfires but I coundn't keep it on the paper @ 50 yards! American Eagle seems to shoot O.K. and no missfires.  I have less than 100 bullets downrange, so Im hoping after breaking in the barrel accuracy will improve.
Wolf I get 3-4 inch groups, American Eagle 5-6 and Sellier/Belloit all over the target. I measured the bullets with a caliper Wolf=.308.
Sellior/Belloit=.311 and American Eagle= .308  At some point I would like to try reloads.  Anyone have any pet loads?
Thank YOU! for your service.

Very late response I know -- BUT your still busy SERVING your country, thank you sir.

I had a poor time with any of my Milsurp(and Wolf) rounds in Rossi.  I also have shot S&B green box with many double strikes needed, Wolf 123 and 154gr with doubles needed, Yugo Brass cased 1970's with doubles needed,  (no headstamp) milsurp (yugo most likely) with doubles needed.  All my american ammo has ignited first try.  Reloads pending.

CZVZ, I will be trying my first swing at loads shortly.  I'll try and remember to post.  I am WIERD I suppose as I use H4895 on all rounds.  IIRC this calls for 27 grains and would almost be a compressed load.  I was gonna start low and work up.  I am Wierd as I am a fan of a "reduced load" in virtually all cases.    With H4895 I will probably START at 17.4 grains and a .308 Hornady 125gr.

Be sure to bore sight it if your going to put a scope on it.  My Rossi had the holes for the scope mount drilled crooked.  Installed some windage adjustable rings and that cured the problem.

Also I had problems w/ mine not firing all the rounds out of a box of ammo.  Come to find out the hammer extension spur was to heavy and would cause the firing pin to to engage as hard as it needed to set off the primer.  Removed the extension and i've had no problems since.

Mine is a .243 and shoots less than 1" @ 100 yards.
I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."
