Anti freeze questions

A friend of mine gave me a gallon of glycerol anto freeze. The label was missing, and he never used it. No idea how to to cut it down or how to use it. Could some kind soul help me out here. Thanks a heep.

First off there is GLYCERIN and PROPYLENE GLYCOL. Propylene glycol may be your best choice here as its easier to "cut" with water. I would cut with 1/4 water to 3/4 P.Glycol to be safe ...you could always add more water. In super cold conditions use less water in early season frost conditions use more water. May take you a season to figure out what works best for your conditions.
For my techniques I dig my trap bed squeeze my trap in, bed it solid, sift a layer of top covering a spray a mist over this covering then sift another layer spray another mist over and repeat. Blend your final cover and mist entire pattern.   Hope this gets you started.
