You probably don't want the Doskosil rifle case. I own one and wish I'd spent the extra money to get a better one. It's airline approved, but I wouldn't travel with it by plane unless I could duct-tape it shut. You can't close it unless it's on a truly level surface. It gets the job done for me, because I just need something that protects it while driving. One advantage to it is that it's mostly plastic, so it doesn't mar the inside of my car like a metal box would. If I were getting another case, I'd want a very tough all-plastic case that closes like a bank vault.
