Friday night I’m getting outta here like I owe people money. My hunting buddy will be driving into town, we’re going to drive through the night and get there in the morning. Hopefully we’ll have enough time for a couple hour nap before we go out on the first night of our hunt.
I’ve got the ammo ready, 2-way radio’s charging up, camo is all washed and scent free, knives are sharp, and about the only thing left is cleaning out the truck and driving north. The last few days before I leave for a hunt are just so agonizing to wait for. It’ll be easier on me this year since I’m hunting the first week, but man I can hardly wait.
I’ve checked the sights on both rifles several times with the results I wanted. The fishing gear will be getting checked and double checked tonight.
I will be sure to write up a full report of how the hunt goes this year. Hopefully it'll have better results than the one I did last year! I just hope to see a bear, if I get one that's great, but I can't complain if I get to see them.
