H&R 444 handloads

Anyone on this site hand-loading for the H&R 444marlin? Until recently I’ve used the Remington 240gr factory load. But since I already reload for my 6.5x55 Swed I thought I’d try my hand with the 444 Marlin. You know how it is…..constant tinkering. At present my 444 load is 49.5gr of H335 behind a Hornady 300gr XTP bullet. Acceptable short range accuracy (2’- 2 ½” groups at 50 yards). But was hoping for something a little better. You guys have any pet loads you would care to share?

I posted links to range reports with several loads that I've shot when you asked about the 444 in January,  did ya forget already!!  ;D

No I haven’t forgotten. I’m just trolling this site to see if anyoneelse might have some pet loads they would care to share.
