Felt? Filler? How to?
« on: August 30, 2008, 04:41:22 PM »
Have hammer driven cutter for making card wads form legal pad. Can I use it to make flet wads?  How? What kind of felt would I buy?

Kevin

Depends on how thick a wad you want to make , also you will need to lube the felt somehow , I have melted down BP lube and poured it on the felt and then cut them out , seams to work well enough . Others like to rub the lube into the wads after their cut .

The cutter , is it the hole punch style ? if so you should be able to do wads up to .500 ( 1/2" ) , check your local craft store or you can order them from Track of the Wolf and save cutting .  ;D

They used to sell it in sheets so you could cut your own , not sure if they still do or not .

Try this site----they have a section for shooters.  The last time I ordered, the price included shipping...
