Corn Jobber

Does anyone know where I can find. A Good in working condition Hand Corn Jobber??  I've been looking for a good while and have found several. But they have all been Messed with By women that use them for decoration.

 I'm afraid to ask, what you thought I was talking about.....    There great for planting the Garden or small patches for deer.  The one I have, has about had it. Thats why I'm in search for a new one.Well a good used one.

You can reasonably assume that I am not a farmer.  In fact, I am a Civil Engineer.  I "do" math and am "checked out" on office equipment and the few pieces of farming hardware that I have purchased and used (trractor, disc, bush hog, scraper blade, etc.).  There is a world of farming implements of which I have no knowledge and even less understanding.  I will spare everyone the "trappings" of my mind in what I first thought. 

What job does a Corn Jobber do?  I am guessing it is similar in task to a tiller.

  A corn Jobber is used for planting Corn.  It's more or less to boards with a pivot at the Bottom with two metal plates..  It has a small hopper that holds the seed . You open the handles Jobb it in the ground, then close the handles . When you do the seed drops out the hopper down a chute between the plates in the ground.  You Now have planted Corn .  Some Jobbers Have adjustable Hoppers to meter the Number of Kernels you drop.   When I plant Sweet corn I drop 4 to 5  Per Jobb and space about 1 1/2' apart.  When I plant field corn I drop 2 to 3 and space about 1' apart.  There great for small Gardens or small Plots. The one I use was My Granddads which was bought in the late 40's.  I wish some company would start making them again. 
   I've been looking @ a small walk behind planter that comes with diff. seed plates to plant diff. seeds.  Has anyone used one of these?

I use one of those push planters for the garden. They work great. For some things they drop seed to close so I just tape up some of the holes. I also have a single row Cole planter, but I mostly just use the little planter unless I am going to plant several acres. I lay my rows off with an AC model G and plant with the push planter.
