Need help

Bought a PSE Nova OC bow awhile back and It had no bow string and I haven't the slightest clue what the Draw Weight is or the draw length is. I was going to take it to my bow smith and I am wondering if he can put a bow string on it without knowing the draw length or is it a waste of time? I traded a cheap old ML so my nephew would have a ML and it has the quiver mount, rest, and both limbs with all of that hardwear and the only things I think I need are the site and a new quiver with the exception of the string.

If he knows his bows, he can look at it and tell you what you have...Problem is finding a good man...

They can look and tell.  There are ranges for draw lengths on every bow, and those ranges are met by teaking the cams.  It's not hard to figure out the draw length.  The poundage is as simple as measuring it.

tom harrington aurora ky is a good bow man.bows is all he does.pse dealer or was last year.

Look at the inside of your limbs.All of the information should be on a little sticker.Now,that being said you should take it to a bow shop that carries that brand of bow.most shops can get you what you need,but its easyer if thay carrey your brand.Whatever you do,have it set up for YOU!.Ya may have to change out cams,or it may be to much WT.,or not enough.Any pro shop worthy of the name can get you set up and on the way to shooting good groups.pan.
