hey guys i was looking for a 24 '' ss 243 barrel i found some bergara barrels for 208.00 i was wondering if they shot as good as t/cs

If you shop around you can find T/C factory (made in U.S.A.) barrels for a good price, new or used in 243 Winchester.

Personally I won't buy a Bergara (made in Spain) barrel.

If you'd do a search here on GBO for Bergara in either of the TC forums you'll find lots of posts about them.    Pretty much a love/hate relationship depending on personal choice, but they have their place for the budget driven buyer.

Just be aware that if you buy a Bergara, and you have any problems with it, TC will not help you with it. TC will help you with their barrels, but not with someone else's. Oh, and in the interest of "full disclosure" I'm one of the guys that would use these barrels as a shop bench leg.....and only when I run out of wood. Spend the X-tra $50 to $70 and buy the USA made product.
