Anyone here doing ang predator hunt hunting up in Maine? I have always been interested in this type of hunting. Mainly I shoot IDPA and cardboard ninjas with my Contenders.

Hawkster, I though that you might get a reply by now although it will still be worth watching this post. At any rate it may be up to you to set a presidence and become a contact guy for the Maine Predators...one word of warning though, once it gets in your blood it just wont go away.
I really dont know what you have up there, Perhaps some Red & Gray Fox for sure..Coyotes?...but you will have to get out there and see as a thorough scouting will be in order for Scat & tracks as you pay close attention to the edges and transitions where two different types of cover meet. With locations and permissions secured, you will be able to teach yourself most of the rest with the main thing being to just get out there and call.
