I have it in a .300 wsm and I love it. I am sure the .270 wsm would make you a fine rifle.

Didn't answer before because of the Subject title.  Thought you just wanted to know about the rifle.  I don't own a Shadow or Super Shadow as I don't care for the synthetic stocked rifles(no matter what the make).  I do own a Savage in .270 WSM.  Great caliber, powerful, flat shooting and accurate(at least in my Savage).  If you like the Super Shadow then getting one in .270 WSM would be a great choice.  Go for it.  Lawdog

I have had one in .270wsm for about 15 months.  Very accurate, lightweight and the stock, well it sort of grows on you, once you see how well it shoots.  Definitely a bargain, with or without the disposable Simmons 8 point scope and cheap aluminum mounts that came on mine from walmart.  Certianly the rifle deserves a better scope and mouns.  I replaced mine with a Burris Fullfield II 3x9 in Leupold STD mounts.  I love mine, and wish I had bought another one instead of the Howa 1500 Lightning in 6.5x55.  (Like the 6.5x55 cartridge, having trouble getting the rifle to shoot.)

I have a Zeiss 4.5x14 on it.  She likes the 140 Accubonds with H4831SC.  I did paint the stock a tan color.

My wife wanted a different deer rifle, I suggested 270wsm, she bought the super shadow at walmart. Butt ugly!, I put a sightron SI 3x9 (another fantastic bargin) in burris signature rings on it and shot it, the goofy looking stock grows on you and it is probably one of the easiest rifles to shoot well for most anybody I've ever seen. I use it now more than she does and it's now my favorite deer/antelope rifle. It's as accurate as rifles costing 4 times as much and it's cheap enough to not worry about using it like a rifle should be used. Get one and you won't regret it.
