My .45 Airgun HogHunt

We hammered them Okie Hogs with our .45 airguns!  All one shot DRT's with the largest being a 140lb. sow.

Starting out with my eater-boar at around 80pounds I'm guessing.  I had no money for mounts and such, and was after meat this hunt.  So it was either a sow or a small boar suitable for eating. 

He went down as hard as possible to a 228grain SWC@around 700fps.

I've taken small game with an airgun but never tried anything larger.
You are proving the worth of the big bore airguns every time you pull the trigger on a big game animal.

Good deal...    Your air guns, have really got my attention.    Up here in NW Ohio I have only seen 17 & 22 cals.  Any info would be appreciated.   Are they pumped or cocked to get the pressure? Or is it done by tank?  How far would you say, they could shoot?  Would you buy a 45cal or the 50cal?  I think there neat.  How quite are they?  (sniper mode)   Thanks and congrats on the hogs.
