Price check on used 45-70

I  saw an excellent used  Handi-Rifle in 45-70 with a blued 22 inch barrel for sale today in a gun shop for $245.  It has a mounted  vintage Weaver K-3 scope with 20mm objective and plain crosshairs. Also has iron sights. The gun is a consignment and the price is firm.  How is this price? About right, high or low? I was thinking about buying an accessory barrel for one of my current rifles but am afraid the wait wiill be long.

TRWalker, here new 45/70 are 229.00- 239.00 new in the box, used ones are can be bought for around 150.00 to 175.00, i see alot of used handi-rifles for 189.00-199.00 price range,

New Handis with pallet wood is about the same price here in Montana, but the K-3 Weavers are selling for $60-$70 at the gun shows around here.  Don't know why except for the demand for them.  I bought 3 of the new K-2.5s for $90 each from Natchez before they ran out of them.  Guess it would depend on how well you like the scope/ring setup on it and the shape of the wood, ect.  DP
