Its not perfect by any means in a 50-70 caliber.  The block and hammer have been brazed where the thumb levers were broken,  but the action is very fuctionble.  The rear sight dovetail if worn and the front sight is absent altogether.  The barrel is only 26 inches long,  which makes me think it was cut off at some time.  I want to turn this into a shooter and need sources and ideas for sights and brass, bullets, etc.  Keep in mind,  this is my first BPC Rifle and I want to really make this beast work.

Thanks for any help.
