what is fair price for a used huntsman
« on: September 01, 2008, 06:03:15 AM »
Hi all , I am wondering what a fair asking price is for a huntsman with a hubbard replacement rod and would probably throw in some other bullets and range rod. I amlow on cash and bills need paid but hate to sell it but may have to so any help would be appreciated. The gun is not for sale yet but just want to know what a fair asking price would be if i did sell it. thanks in advance.

I would say might be worth $60...but it might be worth more if you would give a discription of it. BBL lenght? Blued ,stainless nickle, case color hardened, wood ,plastic, sights ,scope mount, caliber .45 .50 .58 12ga serial# letters the Hubbards rod is worth about 20-25 shipped ;) thats if the original rod is with it also.Kurt

Could be worth $150 to 200 but it maybe a little hard to sell when you can buy a new sidekick for $160 and it does not need to go thru a FFL. The hardest part of your gun to sell will be the frame as it has to go thru a FFL you might be able to get a $100 shipped for your bbl with the Hubbards ramrod and 40 -50 shipped for the stocks. I'm not interested but if I was that would might be maybe what I would consider paying. Sb1 frames are getting harder to get ride of all the time as you can buy complete shot guns for under $120.Kurt

hanks for the help that is about what I was thinking going to have to place ad in paper and probably put up for sale her maybe as well see if anyone is interested only possible upside is can fit shotgun bbl's to the huntsman unlike the sidekick. again thanks for the help need to sell quickly.
