Video "Hyperactive Tour of the Navy Museum"
« on: September 02, 2008, 02:41:08 PM »
I was looking for a way to string a bunch of stills together so I put them into a video.  There are some interesting cannons in it, such as one of the two USN "Boat Swivels" in existance.  That's probably the one item in the museum I'd take if they let me take just one thing.

The trick with this video is to stop it when you see something you want to look at longer than a couple of seconds.  This batch of pix was taken inside the Navy Museum in DC.  I have a lot of pix of the cannons outside of the museum too and some day I'll do the same with those.

That place looks cool!
I could get lost in there for a long time.

YEA!
I can remember visiting cousins in Chicago when I was growing up.  4 blocks from the Museum of Science and Industry - spent 3 DAYS there - didn't see it all either.
