September 6, Good morning Montana
« on: September 06, 2008, 03:40:42 AM »
Cloudy this morning, 46 degrees...it rained last night.  Not Good.  We went for a drive out on the prairie yesterday to see if we could find any gophers.  Found a few.  We also so a lot of grain not harverested or cut and on the ground. Farmers are not going to be happy about rain last  night.

Wife spotted a badger off in distance an d told me to shoot it.  Yes Dear!

All I could see was the top of his head down in a gopher hold...she said hurry up and shoot it....Yes Dear.

Wife got me up early to go yard saling!  She says its for me, they have tools...yeah right!

We went to the one yard sale with tools , no tools...she says lets go home this rain is to much.  Oh thank you rain!!!!!

I did say we could drive over the mountain to  Kalispell to the Gunshow...she said you can go ahead and go by yourself...but Dear one of my life I wouldn't want to drive all that far without you.   Besides the gun account is showing just above empty.  This move was hard on the discretionary funds.

Given the high cost of gas right now driving to Kalispell or Great Falls to go shopping is something she no longer does...her attitude has changed.  She went so far as to plan a whole day shopping and going to the GF airport to pick up here mother who is, coming in for a visit on the same day I get on the plane to fly over to Washington state for a week on a training detail.  In the past that would have been three trips.  We save two tanks of gas and I will be gone for the first week of my mother in laws visit.  ;D
