Weaver K4and other model scopes

I am looking for a K4 scope to buy. I see lot's of other model scopes. B,D, and so forth .Is there a difference in these models in terms of quality?

  I'd like to know the answer to that question, too.  Mine is an older model that is steel and says, Weaver K4-C3 U.S.A. on it.  Really would like to know what it's worth.  Thanks.
