I got picked for 1 hunt McGee Creek. My son and I hunted there a few years ago in a youth turkey hunt.

What was the hunt?  Deer?

I have been trying for one of the Elk hunts for years but have never gotten any of them.

Sorry about that, it's a deer hunt,I also have been trying for the Elk hunt for the for last 35 years but I don't think it will ever happen

no elk unt either but I have only been trying from 93

R u all talking about drawing for a Elk tag at the  Wichita Moutians , if so hang in there i had a freind that did it every year for like 25 years and finally got in , one hole did u come up and take your doe and the salt palins refuge i live about 15 miles from there? i know a few people that have won a drawing on the refuge and have taken some giant bucks off there ,they have time to get big and mature becasue thats the only hunting on the refuge is the drawing, i know the guy that owens land on the north side of the refuge and he takes a big azz buck every year that comes off the refuge on to his place... good luck to u all in the Drawings

Backstrap, It was norrth of seiling not far from the river if I remember correctly, my son wanted to give deer hunting a try & he got the job done.  I hope to get up to Great salt plains & have a look around if possible. My son wants to go on the hunt with me but I think the wildlife dept will not allow it but I will ask anyhow, never hurts

howdy ther coweta hunter we have never met but i live in coweta also just off 141st ,north on street 302. anyway i have never put in for any of the special draws but it might be the way for me to go since i dont  have a place to hunt anymore. oh an contrary to my alias i have never hunted hogs ;D.
