Lord, another one. 
A.  The price is ludicrous
B.  The magazine hooker(oops...impartial writer whose magazine depends on paid advertising) didn't mention anything about the edge itself.  I've had problems with D-2 at a Rc of 61-62 chipping badly when edge ground too thinly with a standard bevel; convexing the edge solved that problem.  I'm curious what happens at 65-68 Rc.  Skinning hogs is NOT a comprehensive blade test.

I have one and its a great knife no it doen't chip and break no its not cheap but it will hold an edge 10 times longer then standard D2 steel.
