Does anybody cast the 50 cal - 250 gr Lee REAL bullets?  I'd like to try them before I buy the mold.  If you do, I'll buy some from you.   Hatchetman

I have a mould for that bullet and if you send me an e-mail with your contact information I will send you a few.

Send that to KRUPINSKI@aaahawk.com.  I probably won't get to it for a week or so as I am leaving on a hunt tomarrow and won't be back in town to get it shipped out till I get back.

Used in 50 CVA Mountain Rifle, 1-66" over 90gr FFg and Wonder wad.  Would hold 3" at a hundred off a bench.  Would put lube on in 'coats'.  Used TC bore butter, let it nearly dry then coat again.  Did this two or three times.  Older and drier they got the less messy they were to carry and still shot great.  Might mix BB with a little beeswax to go faster and stick better.  Just kept a few in the possibles in an open sandwich bag.

I have a lee improved mini in 50 cal and it cast  about a 360 gr bullet.
My 14 inch 209x50 likes them ok out to about 50 yards at 100 i am getting around 2 foot drop.

The mold I would like to try is a lee modern mini, that big flat point should put a real hurting on a deer and since it is a litytle lighter it shouldnt drop as much
