I don't think you can tow a truck with a trailer on it. So I am scratching my head. Dale

Did it have a trailer or was that the shadow of the tow truck. I say it's being towed.

The ONLY shadow I saw is that of the truck. Dunno what you think you're seeing but I see nothing to make me think there is a tow truck or trailer there. In movies they drive backward at insane speeds all the time. Now me I have a hard time backing up far enough to turn around but some folks can sure enough back up really well.

Is this a video of a truck driving backwards down the highway for some stunt or is it being towed? Dunno but I see no evidence it's being towed personally.

I think it must be a truck being towed without a trailer and the shadow must be the tow truck. I don,t believe there is a good enough truck driver in the world to back a trailer down a hiway at 70 MPH. Dale

I think what we are looking at is a tractor being towed. You cannot see the tow vehicle because the towed vehicle has a wind spoiler mounted to its roof. :D

This does remind me of a funny story that happened to me about 14 years ago. My boss and I were on our way into work and I was sleeping in the passenger seat. It was a late night out and I was tired. Well we heading down the hi way and and he pulled up real close to a truck that was towing another truck piggy back with the front of the towed truck towards us. Well when he got up real close he screamed. I woke up and opened my eyes and all I saw was the front of a big truck headed right for me. I yelled myself. He scared the crap out of me. Dale

OK I've watched it one more time. I still see ONE SHADOW ONLY. Yeah at one time it kinda sorta ALMOST appears to be double but is not in my opinion. Is it being pulled or driving in reverse I dunno but the shadow just isn't long enough to call it double to me.

How fast will any stock vehical of any make go in reverse? about 25mph (probably less) I recon because of the short gear.
On the hollyweird shoots this is changed out for a taller gear and 50mph or greater is possible.

watch the white lines on either side, never a bobble.
don't know how fast it is going.
i know lots of good drivers, non of which could back a tractor w/o trailer
that straight. being towed would be my guess. what does it look like
if you run a film in reverse and film it. ???
After looking again i think the are 2 shadows, look at the guard rail.
their is a break at the top.

One truck being Piggy backed behind another, I drive all the time and see it alot. Whats the big deal?  No that truck ain't gonna go 70MPH in reverse, At 15 MPH the diesel will be running at max RPM. The video is being shot by some people having fun. I can't believe anyone believes this thing is driving backwards at 70MPH.  It takes 8 to 15 gears in forward to hit 70, ain't no Eaton Fuller tranny out there that has that many in reverse. Like I said, It's one truck piggy backed on another, common everyday occurrence.
