So yesterday, there we were with our guns slung over our shoulders getting everyone in the group ready for the deer drive when the top sling mount pulled out of my dad's Winchester Model 100. The gun's barrel hit the ground behind him and the stock snapped in two right behind the action. Luckily, I had my .280 with as a back-up gun (which he used to kill a nice buck!).
I found a replacement stock at Boyd's for under $100 that will need some fitting and finishing which isn't a big deal. But, my dad would rather have a synthetic stock. The problem is, I can't find anybody who makes one. Anybody know where we can pick one up at? Laminated would also work to.
BTW, he would like to stay around $200 or less if possible.
