Belt Clip for M-94 Saddle Ring Carbine?

Better than hooking it to your belt (and having it drag your pants down) make a shoulder strap with the same snap-hook on it.  Rein leather would be good.  It may not keep the rifle in position, but you wouldn't have to unsnap it to use it.  That's how the saddle ring was originally used.

This idea was by "scoutkid" on another forum. http://gunspot.atinfopop.com/4/OpenTopic?a=tpc&s=187291455&f=696295755&m=7604011442

If you are right handed and have the saddle ring you can make a nifty "ching sling" setup by utilizing small key rings in the swivel studs and small snaps for the swivels. It also works very well for the "CW" sling setup. That is where I am right now.

I also reduced my LOP to 12.5" and fitted a piece of skate board tape to the plastic butt plate to prevent sliding.

Just something to consider.
