Squirrel season

Anyone doing any good? There dosnt seem to be any squirrels in my usual spots right now  ??? Guess Im gonna have to look elsewhere...

ive seen several so far and shot 1 i never did find. other people i know have killed a few but not many.

I haven't really gone in the woods with the intention of hunting yet but I've been up there plenty working.  I'm building a camp site at the top of my property.  In my time up there though, I haven't seen or heard many.

I plan on getting my 22 out and heading up there sometime.  We'll see how it goes...

Seems like its boom or bust around here..Either people are seeing loads of them or arnt seeing a thing ???

they are plentiful where i hunt been out a few time and shot 3 each time hunted for about 2 hrs each time.  There in the hickory nuts heavy.

I'm seeing the same thing here.  Mast seems to be pretty good but I'm not seeing many squirrels.  There are uneaten acorns all over the place.  The deer are still working on my pear trees.  I'd say they'll move to the acorns after the pears stop falling.

they are hitting the hickory nuts hard here, and there are alot of squirrel in my woods.
they are also starting to get very vocal now with the cooler mornings we have been getting.
