floating barrel

I know I have seen on here what size washers to use floating in the forend. Can anyone tell me off the top of your head and do you use one on each end or just one in the front?? Maybe a better way to do it without much cost?

Okie,

I dunno if this will help you or not, but I floated my ProHunter forend using a piece of one of the Uncle Mikes Contender Strap spacers. I took the spacer, cut it in half with a Dremmel (Thank goodness for Dremmels'), then with a file (because pro-hunter barrels don't have bolts welded onto them) I contoured the one end to match the barrel,.....then I "Gooped" (glue I got at the Home Depot) the spacer to the forend.
