Otis cleaning kits

Are there any downsides to the Otis way of gun cleaning? I have been using my kit and I really like it so far. Just seems to good to be true, there must be a negative. Thanks

No negatives if its used properly.
The only downfall so far is if you use foaming bore cleaner. I
really don't want to run the cable through it first and so I still use the rod
on those guns. Otis Systems gets nothing but high marks here.
