Winchester Model 70 Carbine
« on: September 28, 2008, 09:42:18 AM »
My uncle brought me a Model 70 Carbine chambered in 30-06 and he wanted me to see if I could find out a little bit about this gun and it's value.
I found out that these guns were first produced in 1984 and that's about all I've found.
The serial number on this gun is G1665XXX. Could someone tell me when it was made?
The gun is in nice shape, I would rate it's condition at least 90%.
What would be the value of this rifle?
Thank you very much!

IMHO, it doesn't make much difference, since they were only made between 1984 & 1987.

IIRC, they were pushfeeds, and so IMO would be worth about the same as any other post-64 pushfeed, in like condition.

Thanks Rangr44,
I didn't know that they were only made until 1987. Thanks for the info!

GOOD SHOOTING!
