Politics and local church

A church near my residents was recently on the news for to much involvement in politics. They showed actual video of the preacher telling the church members how to vote. An investigation was launched in hopes of taking the tax exempt status from the establishment. I hope they do because politics have NO business in church. If a preacher has nothing better to talk about then politics he/she needs to hang it up. Have any of you noticed similar garbage in your areas or perhaps in your own church?

Democrats do it all the time and are wide open about it. They pass the hat around in Church for their candidates. Meanwhile I who am not a pastor used to vent pretty openly about Clinton, I thought it was pretty relevant because he is clearly the opposite of Christian values. I was given a very angry letter by a Democrat in the congregation. I appolagised.

HAH HAH, and the headman for the RCC in Los Angeles doesn't push amnesty for illegals. For that matter even the Pope couldn't resist pushing that agenda while visiting the USA.
