House Defeats Bailout
« on: September 29, 2008, 09:07:13 AM »
205-228 House defeats 700,000,000,000 bailout... Pelosi gave a speech before the vote giving inadvertant blame to the past 8 years of the Bush admin.  Thanks Nancy!

None of the 545 folks who wield power in this Nation's Capitol are affected by the bailout, well none of their houses are in danger of receivership anyway.  some may have money in banks that are affected.  some may have stock that is affected.  some may even care about the rest of us in this nation.  Finger pointing isn't going to solve the problems of the day.  What a gesture.  Not too classy.  Certainly not the "High Road".  I wonder if she should be Impeached or Sanctioned?

And just how long did we think we could keep doing the Following ?

Give away all that Money to country's that hate us?
Allow 1/3 rd of our population to sit around all day doing nothing ,while their children are joining gangs increasing the crime burden. And have the rest of us pay them for it ? WELFARE !!!
Inviting in the low life's of the world who produce nothing, then do all we can to encourage them to bring their family's and want the American citizen to shut up ,learn Spanish ,and pay for it all .
Keep raising Taxes to the point of bankrupting the middle class, while we send their jobs over seas ?
Threaten the middle class about taking their rights away , even their right to defend themselves , and turn our Police into Para Military hit squads.
Allow the low life's they let in to have a nice home in a nice neighborhood the tax payer pays for, then wonder why the place has gone to pot.
Allow people expecting a Government hand out to believe they are  not making a Deal with the Devil ?
Run around the world acting like a Global Police force , then once again hit the cash cow tax payer up for the bill.
Allow Hospitals to charge $ 4,500.00 for a sprained ankle ? The best Health care in the world ??? yea if you are Warren Buffet. The rest of us have to sit for hours to see a Doctor because all the Illegals are now first in line ,with their Diseases they brought up here with them.
Never instituting Legal reform so Lawyers run around suing every thing in site ?
Letting our schools teach the religion of Liberalism ,but not intelligent design ?
Keep electing worthless lieing lawyer snake oil salesmen ,to public office ,like being a Lawyer makes you more qualified ?
Allowing the Insurance company's to get legislation to require you to use them ,then not regulating their greed.
The list can go on forever ,so who do we blame ?
Andrew Jackson our 7th President had to deal with this same thing in 1832 . He had this to say to our Bankers::

“Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time, and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves. I intend to rout you out, and by the eternal God, I will rout you out.”

Hey, let's not forget that it was then Pres. klinton who basically deregulated the Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac programs, which instructed lending institutions to open the doors to borrowers who would later default.  Let's give credit where credit is due.

Is it possible to get a worse deal then the one that got nixed? "YOU BETCHA"
The Dems don't need the Repubs to pass it, after all they got a majority and Bush will sign anything  they bring him. >:(

Just another fine example of how little the do nothings can get done when the put their empty heads to it.
