warrenty issues and gunbroker...
« on: October 21, 2008, 07:22:49 AM »
i want to put a prohunter together, but im not sure what eactly i want.  i want to buy a frame, nib, off gunbroker, while i have the money and then decide and what to do with it.  my only concern is what if something goes wrong with the frame?  do i pay for the repair?  is it under any kind of warrenty from tc?  if what is the most likely thing to break, and how hard is it to fix?  thanks for any info!
I've got to many but never enough!!!!

# one,, I can't imagine you breaking your frame.  Everything from Thompson has a lifetime guarantee.  Buy your frame, get some barrels and join the party ;D

just bought a used Encore ML. Went to gun shop to buy cleaning tools and he told me just call TC and tell them. Only question is it encore or pro hunter and within a week I had everything that comes with a new gun but the box. GREAT SERVICE!!!
Thanks,

There is no such thing as just getting one buckslayer.   TC Contenders and Encores are more addicting than potato chips.

How many other fireamrs companies do you know of that when they say lifetime, they mean lifetime with their warranty - no qustions asked.    I know of several instances where returns were made due to damage done by owners and where the owners expected to pay for repairs, yet they got their TC's back fixed for free.

There are very few specific causes that can take a TC frame out of service permantly, and they are rare.   Very few frames have ever been taken out of service since their introduction 41 years ago.   So any worries here are unfounded.
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus
