One man's view of the Federal and state governments
« on: October 13, 2008, 09:18:48 AM »
When I was consulting I had a number of jobs for various government agencies. On each assignment I felt depressed because it always seemed like the primary role of the agency I worked for was to waste as much money as possible, and work less efficiently than most people can conceive. Furthermore, each agency was redundantly wasting money because there was always at least two other agencies doing virtually the same job.

After a while I just quit accepting government jobs. It was too sickening. I felt like I was taking double handfuls of hundred dollar bills and flushing them down the toilet all day.
