sigarms 5.56 opinions

  I have a chance to pick one up from a buddy thats hardly used and comes with a bushnell Halo sight for 1,000.  I don't know anything about these weapons so any info would be appreciated.

They are supposed to be pretty good rifles. they finally have the forearm replacements for them to make it look and feel better now.
On Gun Broker they are even selling the Bayonet and the lug for it also.
It is compared to the Robinson XCR a lot , they are both high end rifles.

Sounds like a good deal.  The Halo sight is about $300.  I get it.
