Trouble w/ Encore - hammer won't move

Iput a bantam stock on my Encore for my daughter to use next weekend.

Now the hammer won't move. I think it us due to having to tighten the bolt in the stock

Anybody have experience with this?

Its probably the bolt being too long causing the problem.

If the stock bolt is too long, hammer won't move. I wanted a few more threads in mine, so I put in a longer bolt and this happened. Ground a few threads off and problem solved.

I put a shorter bolt in and all it well.  Apparently the Bantam stock comes with a shorter bolt.

Happened to me also, I just added another flat washer and cured the problem.
