emcore 7mm08 15" pistol

i'm not sure this belongs here,any members reload for this round in the pistol,if fo have you tried 175 gr bullets?

I reload for it and I haven't tried 175 gr. bullets.  By all means, try some but in my opinion, the velocity obtainable in a 15 inch barrel may not be enough to stabilize them.

I tried, but the accuracy was poor at best. I can't remember the velocity but it wasn't good.

Unless you're hunting elk or moose or big bears with it you'll be better served with a 140 grain bullet and even if you're going for elk or moose I'd go no heavier than a premium 150 grain.
