Last year I hunted almost every day of the season on some very good farms. Never heard or saw a turkey ! I'm no rookie at this game been hunting them since 1962 but I'm discouraged already.
Same problem as last year on my scouting trips. Beside these farms my only option is National forest in Iron county about a 50 mile drive. Grew up in those woods and know where they hang out but it is very tough hunting. Tyhis weather has just got me down, I know it's going to be better on Monday but with my luck ........... Just had to vent a little
