Yah thats a young timber in that picture.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

After looking at it really closely and comparing it to other pictures of wolves and coyotes, I have to agree that it's a wolf.  However, it must be of smaller stature.  When comparing it to the height of the large bear, I would expect the wolf to be a bit taller.

As to the cameras getting chewed on, I've heard that the bears can smell the film (if you're using a 35mm), and it has a sweet smell.  Mine is digital.

They've been in and out of the area over the years.  The last time I found evidence that they were around my particular hunting spot was probably 4 years ago.  I can't say that I'm at all thrilled to see this one.  They don't do the deer hunting any good.

Well, my bear season is over.  They've been coming in after dark.  The only exception (since I started my bait up again) was the day after I put it out earlier this month.  One bear came in one-half hour before dark, but of course, I was somewhere else (not hunting).

I have some pictures of a wolf at the bait one night.  In fact, it apparently scared off a large bear because I have the picture of the bear.  Then, ten minutes later the wolf showed up, and it stayed in the area for about 4 hours.  Go figure.  I don't have any pictures of it on the bait, so I don't know what it was doing for that length of time.
