H&R Topper 158
« on: October 10, 2008, 01:40:43 PM »
Hi everyone,

Been lurking off and on for quite some time, but have a question for you NEF/H&R experts.  ;)
I picked one of these up last fall in 16 gauge but never really used it. I was actually looking for a M88, but the main reason I bought this one was because it looked like it had just been take out of the box. There is no serial number on it so I have no way of telling when these were made. Does anyone have an idea. This one has a snap-on Forend

Thanks,

ShawnT

are there two letters in front of the patent number?
IF we're not supposed to eat animals,
how come God made 'em outta meat?

Is that the letter to use on the year chart in the FAQ's? If so I take it that it was made in 1963.
