Starting Up Help
« on: September 15, 2003, 09:36:04 AM »
Hey guys I need some help.

I just got nominated to help setup smallbore silhouette shooting at my local gun range.  I have been silhouette shooting for about 10 years; however, I have never had to start a league and competition from the ground up.  Any advice would be great.  I need to find some good references, so I can make this as painless as possible.
We are going to start a winter indoor league and also an outdoor league.  If anybody has some good advice I would deeply appreciate it.

Thanks

If you're needing targets, check with Ray Schafer at ppsa@blueridge.net.  I think most of the ranges over here in the Southeast are using his silhouettes now.  He makes some tough chickens.  Do you have a local NRA rep?  I was thinking the NRA might help with set-up.  Good Luck.  Sarah
