marlin 30-30 butt pad

i recently purchased another 336 marlin in 30-30, ive noticed some similair rifles on gunbroker with rubber cushion buttpads. ive never seen a stock 336 with one of these.where can i get one thats a good fit? would love a slightly longer length of pull for my frame.any ideas guys?

HillBill, the newer Marlins come with a thin rubber pad. The larger calibers are thicker. You could have a gunsmith fit a 1" pad to your rifle that would add a little length, or if your handy they are not hard to do yourself.

They also make slip on and lace up pads. Regards, Byron
