Deer gun season '08

Am I correct in understanding deer gun season starts on a Wednesday the 26th of November?    I thought it began on a Monday?

Starts Monday December 1st and runs through Sunday the 7th.  There is a weekend hunt December 20th and 21st.  Muzzle Loader is December 27th through the 30th.

Thanks, I read the link.  But I'm looking at the 2007-2008 Division of Wildlife Ohio Hunting & Trapping handbook and on page 5 under deer hunting, it indicates open deer gun (statewide) season starting on November 26 - December 2.    Then again on December 15 and 16th.

That is the book from last season.  The new book for this season is 08 / 09.  It has a lady with a giant buck on the front.

Thanks, I haven't seen the new booklet 08-09.  I must have had extras from last season and stupidly thought since it said 07-08 it was accurate for 08.

Don't be too hard on yourself , your not the first to do such things . Many years ago I learned that it does not matter what time the rest of the world has , starting time is in " GAME WARDEN " time  - not what the watch on your arm says .

It was only a $25 fine back then but that was in 1976 dollars .
